Hi, my name is Scott Veatch. I have proudly lived and been part of the Ventura community since 1994 when I was stationed at the Navy Base, Port Hueneme in the US Navy Construction Battalion, better known as the “SEABEES.” Naval Construction Battalions were conceived as replacements for civilian construction companies in combat zones. They are comprised of engineers, builders, electricians, plumbers, and all things having to do construction (and demolition). The Seabees are like the Navy’s General Contractors. Stationed in Port Hueneme, I became the Facilities Maintenance Department Manager and continued this work after retirement, renovating and remodeling facilities at the Naval Base Ventura County.
Prior to joining the Navy, I was an apprentice to Journeymen, a gardener, and a carpenter in the construction of residential homes.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to develop a wide range of trade skills and put them into action, both in and out of the military.
After retiring from the military, I continued my work as a craftsman – designing, building, restoring, remodeling, repairing, and honing my skills as an all-around handyman, which I truly enjoy. I purchased my home in Midtown Ventura in 2007 and I’ve enjoyed putting my experience to work by upgrading, remodeling, and customizing my home (and my Ventura neighbors’ homes) ever since.
Working with my hands comes natural to me, and I have always enjoyed making and fixing things. I have the experience to fix, fabricate, make, or build just about anything.
I am committed to providing you with excellent service and quality work - with a smile!
